Food News: Hardee’s Little Thickburger

Maybe this is the Hardee’s version of a mini burger. Who knows? Hardee’s is known primarily for offering up big 1/3 pound Thickburgers or the 2/3 pound Monster Thickburger. Well here is an attempt at something smaller and cheaper. Although a 1/4 pound is still a decent sized burger in my opinion.  It’s now available for $1.99.

A 1/4-Lb. Charbroiled 100% Black Angus beef patty, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, red onion, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and dill pickles on a sesame seed bun.

I can’t escape these Hardee’s TV commercials today during the Maryland/Duke game.  Head on over to the Hardee’s website and check out their ad generator.  Create your own Little Thickburger commercial.

  1. Ryan,

Great site! I think I came by way of but it may have been Greg at or Adam over at You certainly are filling the void left from

You’ve reviewed several of my favorite products, espicallys this one (I was telling The Frozen Food Master about this and Its-Its):

Anyways, I’ve now got another addition to my RSS feed 🙂 I know you’re in Maryland (or at least those whereabouts) but if you are EVER in the SF Bay Area be sure to stop by my place ( for some free pizza. I would love to know what you think of my pie!

I’m curious too….what’s your rating of fast food establishments i.e. 1.) Taco Bell – 2.) In-N-Out – 3.) Jack in the Box, etc.?

  2. Hey Bear.

Thanks for stopping by. I’ll take you up on that offer if I’m ever out your way. As for a rating on fast food establishments, I should work on my list. For burgers I’m a big fan of In-N-Out and wish they had them around here.

  3. I made my own Arby’s commercial…They really don’t give you to much to work with. But definitely made me in the mood for a little thick burger.

  4. Wow, I didn’t know that “little thick burger” was a quarter pounder. That’s not so “little”.

One thing I do wish, is that Hardee’s stop using that gruffy voiced guy. That sort of thing got old a long time ago with the Miller High Life adds. We men don’t need some gruff voiced dumbed down commercial to sell us somthing.
